The flight was short and sweet. It was about a two hour flight and we even got a meal. A great little bento box with sushi. A little plastic bottle shaped like a fish held soy sauce. Once we landed, going through customs was a breeze. They did scan my fingers and photograph me, but it took mere seconds. However, the entire time I was going through the lines I was trying to hold back my coughs. I had to fill out a questionaire about swine flu. And truth be told I was pretty sick. I was getting over pink eye, had a runny nose and a cough.
The entrance to Zoji Temple. It was a Buddist temple right by my hotel. You could here the monks chanting, while I was there.
A shrine and all the statues had cloth wrapped on them. They looked like babies. I am not sure what the shrine was for, but assumed it was about children.
Bell.
Seoul Tower = Red Effiel Tower
Roppongi Midtown (amazing building with a high-end mall, restaurants and offices).
I took a million pictures of buildings and interiors for Kate. Everything reminded me of her and this was one of my favorite buildings.
Look at the Dole ad... it is hilarious.
This is where about six of the subway exits were for Roppongi.
A view from Roppongi street. It was about a thirty minute walk from here to my hotel. The city is very safe and I made this walk about three of the nights. I couldn't have asked for better weather during my night strolls. It was perfect.
