Seodaemun Prison was setup in the early 1900s by the Japanese to torture and persecute Koreans, when they controlled the country.
This photo completely disturbed me. It was hanging on wall with no explanation. People kept just walking by it not even really noticing it and I couldn't walk away.
They had Korean women mannequins and Japanese soldier mannequins in compromising positions showing sexual torture.
Jail cells.
Japanese court official mannequins.
The prison and a little pond. The stone bridge was so narrow and tiny. I feel like if I were to touch it, it would just crumble.
This is kind of creepy...the first tree is outside the area where people were killed and then two pictures below that is the same type of tree, but inside the area were people were killed. The tree is said to hold on to grievances and does not grow big and tall.
Subway tile patterns.
Symbol for subway station with multiple routes.
Gas masks in case of .... The only problem is there are like five mask for the per subway station and millions of people that use the subway a day. Good thing I am bigger then most Koreans... I can fight my way through most men and any woman or child for one.
Those tricky Koreans however only provide Korean directions.
Gyeongbokgung Palace. I was busy taking pictures of these guys in front of the palace to notice I walked in the exit. I didn't realize until I left out the entrance that i was suppose to pay to get in. These guys had the worst job ever. They had to stay perfectly still regardless of what moron stood next to them for a photo opt. Oh and it was rainy and cold.
National Palace Museum (free admission: you have to love Korea).
These remned me of the phone charms every Korean has on their phone.
Kind of Gross.
There is a weird growth coming out of this horse's head.
Is it a cat or zebra? And what is with the red mohawk going down its back?
